Surgeons weigh in on Demi Moore”s ”youthful” looks

Demi Moore”s youthful looks at 47 have been a matter of speculation and debate among many actresses, fans and cosmetic surgeons with quite a few experts believing the actress must have gone under the knife.

While Moore recently told British ELLE mag that she”s “had work done but not on my face”, many find her statement quite unconvincing.

“I personally think she must have, but I can”t prove it,” Fox News quoted leading Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Larry Koplin, who does not treat Moore, as saying.

Koplin added: “As a 47-year-old, she would be defying all laws of nature by looking so good without true surgery, but she certainly could have had a perfect combination of good genes, good fillers (such as Restylane or Juviderm), good skin care and Botox.”

Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, who has also not treated Moore, said: “She may have at least had Botox for her forehead lines, crows feet and to shape her brows, fillers of some sort for her laugh lines and to plump her cheeks.

“It is also possible, that she had a brow lift or at least had some of the brow muscles removed. Upper and lower eyelid surgery may explain some of the changes of her eyelids, although Botox can do that as well.”

He added: “Like most celebrities, she has likely had a lot of skin treatments for improving skin texture, smoothing, and erasing fine lines, as well as stimulating collagen rebuilding. This can be lasers as well as chemical peels. With repetitive skin resurfacing treatments, the skin can get that beautiful glow that Demi Moore has at her age.”

Koplin said: “The remarkable thing about Demi Moore”s face is that if she has indeed had plastic surgery, it is undetectable.

“The hallmark areas are around the ears, and she keeps this area well-hidden by earrings, hair and photo angles. Whether this is intentional (brilliant) or accidental is beside the point.”

While Moore has repeatedly denied reports of shelling out millions on plastic surgery, the speculations haven”t ended.

Ghavami said: “It is hard to say depending on what she was charged and how many times they (the treatments) were done, but it can be up to at least 100 dollars to 250,000 dollars.

“The reports of spending up to three million dollars on plastic surgery are most likely exaggerations.”

Kutcher wasn”t interested in me initially, says Moore

Actress Demi Moore has revealed that when she first met her hubby actor Ashton Kutcher she did not make a move on him, as he spent the evening pining for another woman.

Moore, 47, had previously insisted she fell for Kutcher, 32, during their first meeting, but now she has revealed that she had given up hope of dating him as he was infatuated with someone else.

“The first night I met him he didn”t have two words to say to me – he has a singular focus and it was on somebody else,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

Moore admits her now-husband didn”t show an interest in her until they met again two weeks later at a party in a hotel.

“I left the party to call my children to say goodnight. All of a sudden the door of the hotel opened and he said, ”That is the most beautiful thing I”ve ever heard” and closed the door,” she revealed.

“And I said ”OK, this is somebody different.” And now we”ve been together seven years,” she added.

Demi Moore says she”s finally happy with her body

After years of obsessing over her body, Demi Moore says she is finally comfortable in her own skin.

“I had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it a measure of my own value,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

“I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it never lasted and ultimately it didn”t bring me anything but temporary happiness.

“Does being thin resolve anything? No. The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I”d always wanted.

“But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless.”

“I have had something done but it”s not on my face,” she told Elle magazine

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher launch anti-slavery campaign in Haiti

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have unveiled a new campaign against child slavery in earthquake-ravaged Haiti to ban the unethical practice.

The Hollywood couple joined hands to voice their concerns over the country”s ”restavec” system, in which a child is sent to work as a domestic servant for another family as a means of supporting themselves.

The pair has claimed that the slavery prevents youngsters from gaining an education and experiencing their childhood.

And the stars have used their Demi & Ashton foundation to sponsor a pledge to encourage members at a United Nations meeting on Wednesday to donate to Haiti and call for the restavec system to be banned altogether.

“Let”s support the Haitian people, but let”s support them the right way, and let”s support all of them; don”t forget about the 300,000 children that are enslaved. It”s going to take a lot of loud voices,” the Daily Express quoted Kutcher as telling website Mashable.com.

Moore added: “It”s about creating the awareness that draws the line of what”s acceptable and unacceptable. Any human being enslaved is unacceptable. As long as one is enslaved, then we are all enslaved. It”s an atrocity to stand by and let this happen.”

Demi Moore has blasted Kim Kardashian on Twitter for using the word “pimpin” while partying with Serena Williams and Kelly Rowland.

The actress, 47, took offence when Kardashian, 29, captioned a pic on her Twitter page using the words ”Big pimpin”.

According to the Daily Mail, Kardashian was attending a glamorous charity event in Miami and wanted to show her Twitter fans a snap of herself with her celebrity pals, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The snap, which appears to have been clicked by a cell phone camera, shows the reality TV star with singer Kelly Rowland, tennis star Serena Wiliams and DJ La La Vazquez.

Kardashian posted the pic on Twitter and added a message, which said: ”Big pimpin w @SerenajWilliams @LaLaVazquez @Kelly_Rowland Love u girls!”

However, Demi did not like Kardashian”s use of the word pimpin and asked her: ”Are you using the word “pimpin” as in pimping?”, to which Kardashian replied: ”Doesn”t everyone? LOL.”

Demi then shot back: ”No disrespect I love a girls night out but a pimp and pimping is nothing more than a slave owner!”

Demi added that people should stop ”glorifying the pimp culture”.

One follower tried to explain what Kardashian meant: ”She doesn”t mean it quite so literally”, to which Demi said: ”It”s not her! we have allowed it 2 B considered cool, but it still is what it is!”

Kardashian then decided to defend her own comment, saying: ”Nothing wrong with dancing to Big Pimpin” by Jay Z in the club! Having a girls night out, gotta love that song!”

The number was a single from the Jay Z”s 1999 record, Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter.

All that Demi could say in the end was that she just wanted to ”provoke thought and conversation”.
