Lindsay Lohan Filed a Case against E-Trade, Thanks to a Super Bowl Commercial

The Mean Girl star just sued E-Trade because of the Super Bowl commercial. Although the said advertisement did not included Lindsay’s surname, the “milkaholic” baby was still named after her.

Access Hollywood had a peak of the lawsuit which Lohan filed in New York’s Nassue County Supreme Court last Monday. She said that E-Trade violated her civil rights by using the same name, imitating her personality, and giving a character to the baby which is similar to hers. Lohan claims that the commercial caused her injuries and it was actually a tormenting act on the part of the E-Trade.

According to the spokesperson of E-Trade, they cannot give a comment about the case yet since they haven’t actually reviewed the action.

From the commercial, you would hear the baby boy saying sorry for not calling the baby girl. Then the latter asked if the Lindsay isn’t over from being a milkaholic. Another baby girl suddenly appeared on the screen and said “Milk-a-what?”

Lohan was actually asking for $100 million for the compensatory as well as exemplary damages.

Anand Ahuja, the lawyer defending Lindsay Lohan said that it is pretty much obvious that E-Trade created the character on Lohan’s likeness and they did not considered it one as one of the publicity stunts.
