Even Mel’s Babysitter Eye-Witnessed His Rampage
The frightening rampage of Mel Gibson was not childish tantrum that is so familiar to any babysitter.
It has become known to TMZ that the unspecified babysitter by chance became an eye-witness to the actor’s unraveling. That reportedly happened even before Osksana Grigorieva, his ex-girlfriend, secretly taped his profanity-laced and racist tirade.
The gossip website managed to learn from sources that several hours before a violent brawl, which occurred on Jan. 6, the Russian musician went to see a basketball game and left Lucia, her infant daughter, in Mel’s Malibu home with her babysitter.
The sources involved in the case said that a little bit later Mel flipped out yelling at someone on the phone, cussing, and slamming doors. According to the caretaker, the star screamed into the phone that he wanted to destroy the person he was talking with.
After that scene the babysitter called Oksana and asked her to come back home as her boyfriend was totally out of control, TMZ reported.
When the woman returned, the sitter left and didn’t see anything that happened afterwards.
Grigorieva, 40 told investigators that when she came back, Gibson, 54 punched her several times as she held their daughter.
