Claim for $35 million Filed against Paris Hilton
One of the companies located in Beverly Hills has recently informed the public that it concluded a contract with Paris Hilton stating that the star would promote their extension. However, the popular celebrity allegedly breached their agreement. As the company claims, Paris used fake blonde locks that were produced not by their company, but by its competitor.
It was also claimed by Hairtech International that Miss Hilton’s party lifestyle that was highly publicized as well as her “public debauchery” contradicted their agreement. The company is seeking compensation at the moment: it will be ten times higher that Paris Hilton was initially paid under their agreement.
According to Hairtech International, the star was paid 3.5 million (£2.2 million) after she agreed to become spokeswoman for the line of hair extensions called Dream Catcher produced by the company. She signed that agreement in 2007.
As it was said in the claim, Miss Hilton, 29, was noticed wearing extensions of the rivals on television and in magazine photographs. It is necessary to add that that claim was filed in Superior Court of Los Angeles.
In its turn, Paris Hilton, hotelier Conrad Hilton’s great-granddaughter, hasn’t commented this situation yet.
