It is learnt that Priyanka was inundated with Shahid’s phone calls and emotional text messages while she was enjoying at Shahrukh Khan’s recent party. Shahid kept calling the actress but she ignored his calls and preferred dancing with the ‘Kolkata Knight Riders’ team and the other Bollywood celebrities present there.

Not just that, Shahid even inquired from their mutual friends about the party. Well, it seems it will take a lot of efforts for Shahid to bring Priyanka back in his life.

The Kingfisher Calendar Hunt winner has clarified the rumours pertaining to her relationship with Ranbir and has confirmed dating the Kapoor lad.

“I have always refrained from commenting on my personal life so far but the news reports that have been doing the rounds have caused immense and unnecessary stress to my family and to me. Therefore I need to set the record straight once and for all. Yes, Ranbir and I have dated. We have gone out to dinner like two normal adults in the city.

“As any gentleman would and should, he asked me out for the record. Since winning the Kingfisher Calendar Hunt, my modeling career has done better than I ever expected. None of the successes can be attributed to anyone other than to my hard work and that of my agents,” Angela was quoted in a daily as saying.

However, despite several attempts, Ranbir remained inaccessible to comment.

The actress from Delhi came into Bollywood prominence with Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ in 2003. She is planning to make a strong foothold in the film industry and is all set to share the screen space with the most iconic actor of tinsel town Hrithik Roshan.

Chitrangda, who is playing a mutant, has flown down from London to Delhi is looking forward to finalize her clothes, hair, look and even language for the mutant’s role in the Rakesh Roshan’s film. She will be flying to Mumbai soon for the same.

The news is pouring out that Chitrangda’s transformation will be so extreme that even she will find it hard to identify herself.

A source close to the project revealed, “There are two leading ladies in the film. Priyanka Chopra, who starred opposite Hrithik in Krissh (2006), will be back in the same role. The other major female protagonist will be played by Chitrangda. They needed someone who could look earthy and ethereal. Both Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan decided Chitrangda was the best bet for the part of the sizzling female mutant.”

Apparently Rakesh Roshan decided on Chitrangda, after seeing her in Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’.

When asked about it, the actress broke into a smile and said, “I’m really not allowed to talk about this. I’ve just returned from shooting Desi Boyz in London. I got to do some serious Bollywood dancing for the first time. Akshay Kumar really helped me with my steps. I am surprised at how much he understands cinema. I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns director soon.”

The buzz has it that the alleged coziness between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina became the final nail in the already rocky relationship between Salman and Katrina.

The bold and brash Salman was clearly offended by Kat’s open declaration of her love for the Kapoor lad and how she would never go back to her ex-flame.

The deserted lover boy who was till now making all possible efforts to woo Katrina back has now decided to reciprocate the same cold vibes and is making sure that he proves to be a major obstacle in Kaif’s career graph.

In fact, during the shooting of Ready, an A-lister actress was needed for a cameo but Salman suggested Zarine Khan’s name in spite of Katrina being in the discussions.

Salman, it seems, has also told Kabir khan that he would not want to work with Katrina in his film and Priyanka should step in.”

Another source was quoted as saying, “Salman has never been like this but he is definitely not happy with Katrina’s behavior. It was evident during the shoot of Bigg Boss when Salman had taken digs at her. The anger has only multiplied.”

However a source close to Katrina said, “There is no tension between Salman and her and everything is fine. She still considers Salman as one of her closest friends in Bollywood and will always continue to do so.”

Aamir Khan, who is a Cricket fanatic, cancelled his shoot schedules and arranged for the match tickets. He will be flying to Mohali in his charter plane with his wife Kiran. Says the excited Aamir, “I am most excited about India reaching the semi-finals. Luckily my director is also a cricket fan and allowed me to take the day off to see the match live. So I am off the Mohali to cheer our team. All izzz well.”

One of the biggest stars of B’town, Shahrukh Khan who is known to be an avid fan of cricket has also cancelled all his schedules for the day and has invited all his tinsel town friends to enjoy the match at his place. Wife Gauri has also planned for a special dinner for the guests.

Other actors like Preity Zinta, Suniel Shetty will be treated to VIP access and will be catching the live action at the stadium with friends.

Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol will enjoy the match at some five star hotels with friends and families.

Even Shahid Kapoor, who is presently shooting for his father Pankaj Kapoor’s Mausam, has installed a dish antenna in his vanity van and will cheer the Indian team in between his takes. Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor have requested Karan Johar to install television on the sets of Short Term Shaadi, so that they can shoot and watch match at the same time.

Tusshar Kapoor himself has shown his displeasure for losing his cool during the shooting of ‘Hum Tum Aur Shabana’.

The incident occurred at a shopping mall in Mumbai where the actor was working non- stop without proper sleep. Recently, when the director told him to extend the shooting by another night, the actor who wanted to unwind himself post the exhaustive shooting schedule got irritated and screamed at him. However, he said that he later apologized with him.

Meanwhile, Sagar Ballary defended Tusshar Kapoor and said that these things happen, when people are working round the clock. He added that the issue is resolved and they are back being buddies again.

But it seems that Imran khan cannot stop smiling on this as he is enjoying his much deserved break from work. He is glad that he has got a few days off to unwind himself post the exhaustive shoots and now can get all wet and wild on this ‘Holi’ festival. The Kidnap’ star has evidently sent out text messages to his friends asking them to celebrate the festival with him.

Imran is planning an extravagant Holi bash for his near and dear ones at his Bandra abode.
Talking about Imran, a source close to the unit of ‘Short Term Shaadi’ revealed, “Imran loves to play Holi. It’s one of his favourite festivals. But due to his back to back shoots, he had given up on celebrating the festival this year.

When he received the news, that his shoot for the Dharma film got cancelled due to Kareena falling ill, he checked on her health status. After that he decided to plan a last minute Holi party.”

The hot and sexy actress is now back to play a glam doll in the flick all because her fans could not accept this Bombshell in a “weak” woman’s role.

The 32 year old actress plays a strong headed young lady Zoey in the movie. Bipasha revealed in a statement, “Sometimes it’s very important for an actor to know whether you fit the bill or not. Also, we have very limited kind of offers in the Hindi film industry. So you have to try and do things that your gut tells you to do.”
“I did ‘Aakrosh’ and I felt that I was very convincing as a small town, weak girl in the film, but the strong fan following who love the work I do are absolutely not ready to see me doing weak roles. They don’t mind me playing a small town girl as long as it is a strong woman’s character – that’s the kind of feedback I got after ‘Aakrosh’.

“They (fans) thought that I was great in the film, but want to see me as a strong character. Zoey’s character in ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ has that strength,” added the actress. The film has an eclectic star cast comprising actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Rana Daggubati and Prateik Babbar among others and Bipasha says she has no problems working with an ensemble cast.

“I am very glad in Hindi films we are now trying to play parts which are more of characters rather than just heroes and heroines. I am always for multi-starrers because I feel you enjoy watching performances even more when there are more faces to watch,” said Bipasha.

Talking about her film, she revealed, “It’s a stylish thriller that talks about the drug mafia, the entire drug underbelly that exists. We are not trying to pinpoint and say that it is Goa where all this happens. It’s a fictional story and can be placed anywhere. But it’s just that the feel of Goa goes well with the characters and the characterizations of each of us, so that is why we chose this place (Goa).”

The bong beauty cannot stop raving about her director Rohan Sippy with whom she is working for the first time.

“Rohan is very easy to work with. He is a Goan at heart. He roams around in his printed t-shirts and he is very laidback but so clear about his work. He is not like a higher authority on the sets. At times I could even bully him a bit, but he knows how to get what he wants from his actors,” she said.

Now the news is pouring out that the latest entrant in the ensemble cast is the ‘Veer’ girl Zarine Khan.
However, the nature of her role has not yet been revealed and the filmmakers are even trying to keep it a secret that with whom Zarine is paired, as the story is full of twirls and turns.

Zarine who is known to be a Salman Khan’s discovery is back in thick of things. Apart from ‘Housefull2’ she will be seen shimmying in the Salman- Asin starrer movie ‘Ready’ also.

Recently, the actor envisaged interest in casting Mahesh Manjrekar in his forthcoming film ‘Bodyguard’ also. He called and offered the role to Mahesh and without even thinking Mahesh agreed for it. Now Manjrekar will be joining the “Bodyguard” unit from April 3. However, the nature of the role has not yet been revealed.

“He hasn’t told me what I play in ‘Bodyguard’. He has just asked me to join the unit. I don’t mind. I never ask him about my role because I know he’s asking me with a good role in mind. I think Salman prefers me to be an actor. He keeps offering me roles in his films. I don’t get a chance to direct him at all,” said Manjrekar.
Mahesh’ role in Anees Bazmee’s “Ready” too was kept under wraps until he arrived on location in Colombo.

“When I landed there I realized I had a positive role in ‘Ready’. Thank god, I wasn’t playing a lecher. It was becoming tough for my 17-year-old son to explain to his friends why his father was always playing leery characters. Hopefully, in ‘Bodyguard’ too I’ll have a positive role,” said Manjrekar.
