Apolo Ohno Doesn’t Want His Perfect Woman to Skate

The eight-time Olympic medalist (four bronze, two silver, two gold), short track speed skating sportsman, former champion of Dancing with the Stars (2007) gave an interview to PEOPLE this week in New York at “Got Milk?” and “Refuel America” campaign debut. The star confessed that he would prefer his girlfriend not to skate.

Ohno, 28 says that, first and foremost, his ideal woman has to have good intentions and a good heart. These parameters are key for him. It is also great, in his view, if a girl is always trying new things. The sportsman is against of any relations with smoking women. He even calls them “hands-down deal-breakers”.

Ohno shared with the press that his tough schedule negatively affected his personal life. Because of his sports career he hasn’t been able to find his lucky lady yet. He adds that it is impossible for him to dedicate enough time to a beloved person when he has such a busy life.
