Angelina Jolie visits the victims of flood affected Pakistan
Angelina Jolie who has always been a goodwill ambassador to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees landed in Nowshera, northwestern Pakistan on tuesday for the huminatarian cause to help the flood victims.
She wanted to meet the mothers who lost their children in these floods which happened in Nowshera.
Jolie visited a refugee camp near Jalozai and identified the condition of distress in Pakistan to be intensely complex and hopes to do something for them in her short visit itself.
The flood which has led to 1700 deaths and affected 17 million people might be able to genrate more funds for the flood affected victims due to Jolie’s two day visit to Pakistan. She was seen wearing a black headscarf along with a black robe to respect the country’s traditional islamic culture.
